Found at UV light near pond in wooded area of a flood plain

I agree that this is D. fovea
I agree that this is D. fovealis- it was recently discoverd in Florida and is now in numerous counties

The USDA guy here in OK intends to set out traps in the coming spring (just south in the Tulsa area) to see if it overwinters here. My neighbor had bought some water hyacinths there in May or June and I have a Lowe's with a garden center nearby.

Update
The referenced article from CA used to quote July 1 of this year as their detection date. Now it has 2004 and April of this year. Must have found new info.

5156.5 – Duponchelia fovealis
A species fairly recently introduced into North America. Known as a greenhouse pest in Ontario (2005), recent records in the USA range from the Carolinas through the Gulf states (and now Oklahoma).
