I was wondering if anyone can tell what genus this is from. These are not at all common in this area. Acanthocephala are the most common.

Nymphs can be tough to ID with certainty,
because they change so much as they grow. However, yours might very well be
Acanthocephala
(assuming that the one below was identified correctly):
