Fresh Sphinx - Darapsa myron

Fresh Sphinx - Darapsa myron
Okeechobee County, Florida, USA
April 10, 2010
I think this is Xylophanes porcus #7888, but would like confirmation before making page for this species. It appeared to be in relatively fresh condition.

Moved
Moved from Sphinx Moths.

Within Variation of 7885 - Darapsa myron
X. porcus (rare stray in Florida) would have more obviously falcate wings with fine white edge on both costal and inner margins. Abdomen would appear more slender, tapered and longer relative to wings in this pose. (no rsvp, thanks)
