moth04 - Dichomeris picrocarpa

This tiny brown moth was on a peony leaf and appears to have a pair of upward hooks protruding from its face. Any help in identifying is appreciated.

Black-edged Carbatina Moth
The Latin or scientific name is Carbatina picrocarpa. I gave it the common name (unlike butterflies, many, many moths have no "official" common name). The hook-like appendages are the palps, accessory mouthparts or sensory organs. Many species fold them back over the head when not in use.
