Size: about 3/4 inch long
9:20 AM. Flies fast for a bee, mostly buzzes around flowers. Lands not very often, say every 20-30 sec. On violet gayfeather (liatris spicata). Three or four appeared for the first time today. Roof garden on 22nd floor.
