Size: About 1cm long
I am fairly sure this is in the genus Trox. Can anyone confirm? - Thanks
Found crawling on the ground on my driveway on a warm, spring-like day.

Trox
No doubt about it - In addition to the shape of the scutellum, Trox are on average smaller, and in my experience, more frequently seen, being quite common on carrion or dung.
I don't often see Omorgus there, but many are found in birds nests - we have a species found only in Barn's owl nests.

Scutellum
With this overall appearance, it really can only be Trox or Omorgus.
