Identification
Similar to Diaphorus, but usually with a wider frons, narrower face, and fewer bristles on the male genitalia.
Habitat
"Chrysotus is generally heliophilous and is mainly found on the foliage of low herbs, but a number of species seem to prefer wet, sandy banks of ponds and rivers"(1)
