Longhorn - Strangalia luteicornis

Longhorn - Strangalia luteicornis
Churchville Nature Center, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
July 13, 2003
On buttonbush (Cephalanthus). These flowers attracted numerous insects.
Southeastern PA

Beautiful image
Beautiful image, showing so much detail of the flower as well as the beetle. I agree on genus, based on body shape, and as for species I believe this is S. luteicornis, based on the pale antennae and the markings on pronotum and elytra.
