Kukulcania sp. - Kukulcania

Kukulcania sp. - Kukulcania
Panoche Valley, San Benito County, California, USA
July 9, 2010
Found under a rock. Looking at the shape of its palps and the its coloration, it's difficult for me to say if this is an adult female of one of the smaller, paler species, or an immature.

Juveniles and some adults are more pallid.

You can clearly see the dark eye turret which is characteristic of this species.
