Kukulcania sp. - Kukulcania

Kukulcania sp. - Kukulcania
Panoche Valley, San Benito County, California, USA
July 9, 2010
Found under a rock. Looking at the shape of its palps and the its coloration, it's difficult for me to say if this is an adult female of one of the smaller, paler species, or an immature.

Moved from Kukulcania.

The
females continue to molt after sexual maturity, so there could be significant size variation of mature females, as in hibernalis. Seems too dark to be a male.
