looks like an Ummidia, Cork-lid trapdoor spider

Hey thanks! I appreciate the reply about this great spider, I found interesting...is it safe to pick up or just better to leave it alone?

I found one last year in my shed about 10 times larger! no kiding...
that one I left alone, was looking for the picture I took of it to send. will keep looking, think it may be on a disk somewhere.

I have several small holes in my yard near the woods that I could not figure out what made them. maybe that is where these spiders live or what I dont know. Thought snakes or whatever.
