Possibly Vivid Dancer (Argia vivida); the female does not seem to have a vulvar spine (ruling out bluets and some forktails) and the thorax pattern matches that of the species.

 
Not a Bluet........
Tony, Thank you very much....I have been looking at bluets and not feeling at all capable of any specific identifcation and now it turns out not to be a bluet at all.
