Iridescent Beetle - Chrysochus auratus

Iridescent Beetle - Chrysochus auratus
Miami Whitewater Forest, Hamilton County, Ohio, USA
July 10, 2010
This pretty little beetle was feeding on a toxic dogbane plant.

Moved
Chrysochus auratus it is.

I
am not an expert but my guess is Chrysochus auratus.

Must be right.
Considering what it was eating, I am sure you are correct. Thanks for the remarkably quick response.

You
are welcome but I would wait for a confirmation from an expert to be sure.
