Identification

Cylindrical in shape, like all of this family. Pale underside and transverse striped pattern of red, black and pale color.

Range

Southern S. Carolina to southern peninsular Florida.

Remarks

One of the fastest-growing millipedes, can reach adulthood in about 18 months.
