Scarab? - Anomala orientalis

I saw this beetle climbing on my screen door. I think it's some sort of scarab, but I'm not sure. Any help in identifying is appreciated.

Scarab, yes, Anomala species
Looks like an Anomala species. Dillon (1) illustrates, plate LIII. Looks close to A. undulata or A. innuba. Harpootlian (2) gives key for this genus in South Carolina. I can't get anywhere with it. Several common species in North Carolina State University Collection. Thes include flavipennis, innuba, luciola, marginata, and undulata.
