Taken at a Brown Recluse presentation given by Dr. G.B. Edwards at Florida Medical Entomology Lab. I am not sure where he said this was collected, I will ask him tonight. Here you can clearly see the "Violin" pattern on the prosoma.

Origin: o.k. believe it or not, this spider was obtained via an order from a company on the internet. I do not know why someone would want such a boring, yet nasty spider, but there is no accounting for taste.
