Cerambycidae - Mallodon dasystomus ? - Mallodon dasystomus

Cerambycidae - Mallodon dasystomus ? - Mallodon dasystomus
Leesburg, Lee County, Georgia, USA
July 21, 2010
Size: 42.6mm
Collected under loose bark of downed Pecan trunk. Does not have the large pronotal spines of most Prioninae.
Deep punctation on head/frons as shown for Mallodon. Antenna would possibly indicate female. Confirmation and/or
correction appreciated.

This is a male whatever it is
Looks like Mallodon or Archodontes.

Mallodon ?
Thanks roar, My guess was based on Phillip Harpootlian's photo
comparison (#27712) showing the difference between the two species.

yeah
