Beetle larva? -
Ontholestes cingulatus
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
July 22, 2010
I found this insect in my moth trap this morning. I thought it might be a beetle larva. Any ID information would be welcome.

Perhaps a gold and brown rove beetle, Ontholestes cingulatus. Or maybe a similar species.
