Spider with four long legs?

I just saw a spider in the bathroom, very light brown almost white with four long legs and four short legs. It was about 2cm counting the long legs. I have never seen anything like it, but it's too dark right now to take a picture. Does anyone know what it could be? I'm so curious.

Doesn't your camera have a flash option? Many photos in BugGuide were taken at night, with flash, and are perfectly clear.

Crab spiders have that 4/4 pattern
but we're sure it could be many other things. A picture will clear up those choices. Here's an image of a crab spider while we wait for you to post your image to ID Request.
