V, thanks for the correction. There was something about it's eyes that made me wonder if it might be something other than a Miridae species. This one was rapidly running away from me up a wall and this was the only decent shot I could get of it as it scrambled out of my reach. Thanks.

 
yeah, those agile hunters need big eyes & fast legs!
however, the feature that should have immediately tipped you off is the outer margin of the wing [hemelytra]: in full-winged mirids it always has a characteristic transverse crease in the rear ~third and appears kinda broken; i'll find you a good image to illustrate the point.
