Hawk moth? on chanterelle - Amorpha juglandis

Hawk moth? on chanterelle - Amorpha juglandis
Boone County, Missouri, USA
July 28, 2010
Size: 1-1/2"
Found this in the woods. I had cut this lovely orange chanterelle, and this moth was clinging to it. The moth did not move as I held the mushroom and moved it all over the place for 5 minutes trying to get good angles as I took pictures. At first I thought I was seeing short antennae, pointing forward, but then decided it looked more like the actual antennae were held tight along its head...?
