I just got a new camera and flash unit, and this is the first picture I've taken with it. I'm hoping the results are better. I've had this beetle chilled for over 2 weeks, and took it out to photograph, now I'll let it go.

with a Canon MT 24-EX dual head ring flash. I'll try using diffusers on the flash to reduce the glare. I'll have to play around with the new features to see what works best.
Thanks for the nice comments.

Hard to tell at 560 pixels.
Maybe a bounced flash would reduce bright points and permit more detail. What make/model is your new camera setup?

Fantastic
Great results with your new camera, sharp, detailed, and well-lit!
