Well.... it's a bug. It almost looks like some sort of beetle or true bug, I don't know which. It might even be a cryptically colored hymenoptera.

among beetles,
i didn't, and won't, touch cerambs, scarabs, & bups; hardly touched tenebs [W and SW fauna scares me] and carabs; failed to make sense of Entiminae; have long-term plans for mordels; trying to involve expertise into cantharoids, chysoms, and a few other groups. happy?
