Mayfly? - Maccaffertium
North Augusta - Savannah River Bluffs Heritage Preserve, Aiken County, South Carolina, USA
February 23, 2006
This is the first time I've seen an adult Mayfly (if that's what this is). Is there any way to identify it to species?

Definaltly Mayfly
Definaltly, this is a Mayfly. However i can't say what specie(s) it is...it is a Mayfly. By the way. Is the correct spelling for one individual specie or species? I have herd it both ways.

Species
Species is the same in both singular and plural, and the plural of genus is genera.
