Lined June Beetle
This is one of the Lined June Beetles, genus Polyphylla.

 
Ten Lined Beetle
Yes, it's a Ten Lined Beetle - one of the hissing beetles. They grow quite large, and if you try to move them, they will hiss (which is quite startling, even if you know they will do it!)

 
P. decimlineata
should be the only choice with markings this bold in Flagstaff (I have collected it there too).
