Moved
Moved from Hydroporus.

definitely see the carna on the left (our right) shoulder. Overall, appears very similar to C. dissimilis (from the same night).

Correction
This is a species of Hydroporus but it seems like most of the dorsal setae has been rubbed off. Tough to say which species without view of the male protarsal claws but I'm guessing H. dentellus or H. dichrous, both found in the northeast.

Thanks Tim,
not sure if this is a male, but right protarsal claws is just visible in ventral image (with the terminal antenna segment stuck in between them).

Beyond that, this is limit of my current optics setup. I guess I'll have to go back to attempting an image using the stereoscope at very high magnification. It won't be pretty, but perhaps I can get something usable.
