Large Brown Spider with bit butt - Hogna antelucana

Large Brown Spider with bit butt - Hogna antelucana
Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, USA
August 5, 2010
Size: 2in
Can you help me to identify this type of spider. I am invaded with these huge insects this year. The size is about the same as a fifty cent piece.

Hogna antelucana ?
Hogna antelucana has a white stripe down the center of the carapace like many Hogna, but the thing that sets this one apart is that it gets larger just around the thoracic groove and then skinnier again before it meets the abdomen. That matches this spider quite well.
