Apparently Phyllophaga blanda Sanderson
Given the locality, size, shape, and apparently cleft tarsal claws, I am fairly sure this is P. blanda, even though the lighting does not show off the thin pruinose sheen normally visible on this species.

Hmmmm...
familiar but not sure. Maybe P. granti or P. flavipennis?!?
