Size: ~4mm or so
Looks like the Wool Carder Bee's larvae are doomed... I found a few of the Chalcid wasps like the one above gathered about the nest over the past few days.

Pteromalidae…
Fits pretty well into this family with a well-developed propodeum, large sculptured thorax, long antennae with seven funicle segments (typically six), swollen femora, and sublateral carinae. Has a very diverse host range, but bee parasitism is pretty atypical for this group.
