Specimen 1 - Conoderus falli

Specimen 1 - Conoderus falli
Spiderweb, Aiken County, South Carolina, USA
August 9, 2010
Size: 7mm
Attracted to light.

Specimen to be sent to B. Mathison.

Moved
Moved from Heteroderes.

Moved
Moved from Click, Firefly and Soldier Beetles.

Keys to Heteroderes, based on the stout pronotal angles that are sharply carinate and the pronotal punctures (scattered large punctures, surrounded by smaller, finer punctures). This specimens seems different than specimens I have of H. amplicollis from GA, so best to leave at genus level for now.
