Common Walkingstick (Diapheromera femorata) - Immature - Diapheromera femorata - Male
Green Lane, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA
August 2, 2010
Size: Approx 3" in the body
This one seems to be immature (colors not quite there), and I see what might become claspers but am not positive so no sex noted.

Sunny, 85 deg. F, slight breeze, 10:00 AM - it was on a bright blue tarp in strong sunlight so I moved it to a paper towel on the picnic table for a photo.
