Size: Approx 1"
Checked the Guide and found it - but am still enough unsure of myself to ask for confirmation on my ID's. I always thought these were Reduviidae (even the nymphs) and couldn't place them. This one seemed to be sipping plant juice and had leafy legs, which threw me. I saw a BG post on the web that led me to the right (?) ID.

A. terminalis looks right to me.
It's the only Acanthocephala found north of North Carolina.
