Is this Gasteruption? I couldn't believe this amazing insect! I was walking through a thicket with my son and spotted this wasp sitting on the plant you see in the photo and worked for several minutes, in relatively low light, until I had one decent image of her! Amazingly delicate and beautiful. I watched her fly around the trunk of a small tree for a while, then she flew away just about 3 feet above the ground and disappeared against the background.
