Clod Hole Opiliones - Bishopella laciniosa

Clod Hole Opiliones - Bishopella laciniosa
Monteagle-South Pittsburg, Marion County, Tennessee, USA
June 27, 2010
It was near the bottom of a 188ft deep vertical cave. This is a semi-common cave dwelling kind of Opiliones as i have seen them in several caves in Tennessee. This was about medium sized relative to most Opiliones in Tennessee I did not get the chance to measure it.

Excellent find Jonathan! Please contact me if you'd like to learn more. This could be an undescribed species....

Maybe Phalangodidae
Based on one of my other photos:

This was found in a different cave. Both Caves are maybe 5ish miles apart.

Nice find
I'll be interested to see what this is.
