Pachybrachis othonus othonus ? - Pachybrachis othonus - Male
TX 82W 3334N/09452W, Red River County, Texas, USA
May 15, 2010
Size: 3.5mm
Roadside net sweep. Classic casebearer I thought. Keyed using (1) to
Pachy*brachis the further to P. o. othonus. Excited about that until trying to find a
match. The specimen in the guide has a similar pronotum, but this one lacks almost all
elytral vittae. Only spots are at the humbone. Could not see a round pit on ventrite 5,
so assuming male. Tossing this to the experts for the real answer.
