Great
images. Wulfila species, maybe albens.

another gorgeous picture
most definetely a Thomisid.
John and Jane Balaban are the experts on the differences between Misumena, Misumenops and Misumenoides
;)

I was thinking
it looks more like a sac spider, but this is not the usual angle I see. Do you have any images from above?

you got ME thinking
the eye arrangments of crab and sac spiders are similar.
i have never seen such a beautifully colored sac spider though
on the other hand, the eyes are too wide for a Thomisid.
we'll wait for other comments, maybe other photos

i take it back

Sac Spider
I'll check the files tomorrow to see if any top shots were in there. I can try to find this little guy again outside also. It wasn't really moving like a crab spider, but we'll have to find some different angles. Thanks - we'll be back
