Size: 6-7cm
Found this larva munching tomato plant leaves. Scanned online images and seems to be a Sphinx gordius.

manduca sexta, has the red horn

this is not gordius..Larva feed on: Apple (Malus), sweetfern (Myrica), Carolina rose (Rosa carolina), blueberry and huckleberry (Vaccinium), white spruce (Picea glauca), American larch (Larix laricina), and alder (Alnus)
