Cybocephalus
2 species of Cybocephalus evidently occur in Massachusetts:
C. nigritulus
and the introduced
C.nipponicus
, which was released to control Elongate Hemlock Scale.
Any way to tell them apart?
BTW: Cybocephalinae has been elevated to family status: Cybocephalidae (Smith and Cave 2006).
