Unknown Pyemotes mite species

Unknown Pyemotes mite species
Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA
July 10, 2010
Size: microscopic?
The specimen was found in the skin scrape of a completely hairless and pruritic German Shepherd belonging to by a volunteer at our Animal Shelter. The owner's veterinarian couldn't identify the mite. We normally see Sarcops and Demodex mites in dogs with hairloss. I was hoping the mite could be positively identified and placed into its proper taxa on BugGuide. I think it is a pyemotes mite. Sorry i didn't measure the mite, a friend took the photo. I assume it was a 10x or 40X objective lense. I also have a short movie if it would be helpful.

Thanks, Jeremy
