Little white eggs found under some bark of a dead tree. Can't find anything about it, could it be eggs of some sort of beetle?

I have found the same in the Ohio Valley area

Slug eggs ?
looks similar to the slug eggs I find under logs.
The eggs I find are all connected like a string of susages.

I agree
These are slug eggs. Some lay them in strings, but others lay them in irregular clumps like this.
