Hawaii Spider Waikoloa, Hawaii, USA March 11, 2006 Size: 6mm
I spent a good half-hour trying to find a similar specimen in the image repository. Unfortunately, my untrained eye remains as such as I was unable to find a suitable match. Hence, this request for ID.
These spiders appear to spend most of the daylight hours on the wood siding around the perimeter of my house, almost exclusively on the East and North sides of the house, which are the recipients of the majority of the day's sunlight.
They're small (~6mm), easily approachable and not skittish in nature.
