Minature bug - Ptenothrix

Minature bug - Ptenothrix
Big Basin Redwoods SP, HQ area, Santa Cruz County, California, USA
February 23, 2007
Size: 2, maybe 3 mm long
Lucky all the way. Some young person with better eyes then mine saw this, and I was doing reverse macro of moss anyway, this is 1/4th of a photo that is only about 12mm wide originally. I can't get images at 1:1 as good as this with my expensive macro equipment, for something this small.

Moved

Family = Dicyrtomidae

Moved
Moved from ID Request to the springtail section, for expert attention.

Springtail
One of the many "Globular Springtails" Symphypleona. What's about Dicyrtomina sp.?!?
