Trapdoor spider Bothriocyrtum californicum? - Antrodiaetus

Trapdoor spider Bothriocyrtum californicum? - Antrodiaetus
SFSU Field Campus, Sierra County, California, USA
July 9, 2008
This spider was out at 6:30 a.m. on the path leading to my tent. As I recall, it was the size of a tarantula, maybe 6-7 cm. legspan.

Either A. montanus or A. gertschi; need to see spinnerets, not possible from photo. Cool spider!
