Found several clustered under bark of pine that died probably 2-3 years ago, along with a few scolytines plus a half-dozen Rhag*ium inqui*sitor that seemed to be awaiting warmer weather to fly. At first I thought these were scolytines, but their hairless, shiny appearance made me think they might be Corticeus, and magnification seems to bear that out.

There are only two spp. of Corticeus on the New Hampshire checklist, but the University of Florida checklist of eastern Tenebrionidae attributes four species of this genus to New Hampsire. That site's image of C. parallelus looks most like this beetle.
