August 30, 2010
Size: 16 mm
I found another one this am (didn't get a picture) that I measured and it was 22mm. These beetles seem to be everywhere here.

Pyrota punctata Casey -- det. J.D. Pinto
so it's a much better one -- thanks again, Racquel; i wholeheartedly share Jeff's appereciation of your work.

Moved from Pyrota concinna.

Moved tentatively -- and unlinked [diff. individuals!]
Moved from ID Request.

Sorry- I didn't even notice
I linked the wrong images together. I have the other shot of the one next to the coin. Should I edit this post and put that image up instead?

Again sorry, I have never made this mistake before. If this happens again, (which I hope it doesn't) you can always email me. I hope you understand this was an honest mistake, the ! feels lik I am being scolded. Perhaps I am reading too much into it though. Anyway since you said you unlinked them, perhaps I should leave it this way? Just let me know and I will take care of it.

Thanks

scolded...
