Black-Headed Centipede - Scolopendra heros

Black-Headed Centipede - Scolopendra heros
Green Valley, Pima County, Arizona, USA
September 9, 2010
Size: 8.75"
He was found in a garage. They have teeth and hollow fangs like a snake. They don't usually let go when you get bitten and the area becomes painful and begins to deteriorate rapidly just like a snake bite. I do not know the gender nor the Scientific name for this centipede.

Moved
Moved from Centipedes. The internet tells me the Arizona subspecies (or color variety) of the "red headed" centipede has a black head.

Scolopendridae or Cryptopidae
According to myriapoda.org, the short segments 2, 4, 9, etc. and 21 segments in total put this in family Scolopendridae (other than genus Scolopendropsis) or Cryptopidae.

We have an expert on the order visit BugGuide occasionally and he should recognize this. It's like a color reversed version of the "red-headed" centipede.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

I expect Scolopendromorpha but I don't know centipedes.
