Well darn
It looks like you might be right. I blew up the palp images and there doesn't seem to be any boxing gloves. It was so tiny I just assumed it must be a male. I'll leave the sex blank since I suppose it might be a juvenile male as well?

At the risk of fully annoying you :-) I would speculate that the budding development of the "knobbies" on the abdomen points to a future female, based on seeing a few photos of males.
But, immature/juvenile does seem like the best choice.

I didn't even consider the knobbies. Well double drat, I was excited to find a male trifasciata, since I've never found one in MT... or anywhere I guess.
