I see these same bees all the time in Vero. They are pretty tough to get on film.
I do not know what they are, but perhaps are M. xylocopoides. They just look lighter colored than the ones in the guide.
Here is one of mine that looks similar to yours:.

At the end of the day, I just don't know. The way to proceed of course is to get a good key, a killing jar, some pins and a net....
Bugguide has made me lazy and spared some bugs as well.
