2-spoted stink bug on a flea beetle prey - Perillus bioculatus
Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolina, USA

These two were found on Amaranth. Any clue to both species? The predator's color marks are near red unlike the orange i see on the Colorado potato beetle-Perillus sp?

Just thought I'd add
P. bioculatus can be red, orange, yellow, tan, or white. As I recall one individual can change color according to environmental conditions too. They used to try to overwinter by the hundreds behind the picture frames in our living room when I was a kid (much to my mother's dismay).
