Wasp? - Female
Powhatan County, Virginia, USA
March 21, 2006
Size: Body is under 1 cm
Can anyone ID this? - Thanks
This is a composite of two photos. Found in the upper corner of my bedroom window.

Chalcid Wasp?
Here is the guide page.

Yes - family Torymidae
While the first member of this family to be included in this Guide had a relatively short ovipositor, this female has an especially long one. It must parasitize gall-wasp larvae sheltered under very thick galls.

Thanks
